More adviser-provider referral partnerships needed
The opening up of the retirement income market will drive the emergence of more adviser-provider partnerships, according to Foster Denovo.
The national advice firm, which entered an advice contract with Friends Life in April, said it is seeing increasing demand from other providers and employers for such partnerships since the pension freedoms came into force.
Roger Brosch, CEO, said, “there’s a massive need for these partnerships. The market is coming to seek us out, employers are coming to us and providers (are asking to enter) into advice deals.”
