- How I work
My first meeting with a potential client tends to be face to face. We take this time to get to know each other and for them to gain an understanding of how I work. I also spend some time explaining the positioning of Foster Denovo within the arena of Financial Advice and describe some specific features of our service with examples of why we do the things we do. This way we develop an understanding of each other. By the close of that initial meeting, they know what to expect from me and I know what to expect from them. This, I think is key to beginning the advice process, making it possible for me to provide them with bespoke financial advice to help them reach their desired outcomes.
Dependent on the complexity of a client’s case and needs, I may use cash flow modelling and financial forecasting tools. These tools allow my clients to visually see where they are financially as well as where they want to be, hence gaining a clearer understanding of the advice I am offering.

Many of my clients have been with me for several years. This is because as their families grow, their needs and goals evolve, therefore so does the advice I offer. This has allowed me to continue to support them with a holistic financial plan, ensuring they remain on track to meet their goals.

I started my working career in the motor industry. Later I worked with a financial adviser and then decided to become one myself, with a view to helping people improve their financial security.
Today, my clients know and trust my relaxed and straight forward approach, I have stayed friends with many of my clients and I am always recommended to their own family and friends as a result.
Outside of work, my wife and I enjoy spending time with our family and grandchildren. We also have a wide group of friends with which we socialise and holiday with on occasions.
