Morag discusses how early intervention can help reduce, or eliminate potential issues, and in the case of mental health in the workplace, its use can help to reduce the amount of time an employee is required to take off.

Morag also argues that,  as a process, early intervention can have a profound impact, not only on absence management but also on the number of claims an employer needs to make. It has the power to work on the front line – reducing the number of occupational health referrals required.
