Financial education is ‘double edged sword’

Foster Denovo’s Director of Sales and Marketing Darren Laverty explains that the more employees are educated about financial issues, the more unanswered questions they have as a result.

“The advice gap actually gets bigger when you educate people. So while education is a great thing, empowering people with knowledge, help and support, actually they’re then becoming very aware of their problems,” he said.
