Foster Denovo aims to get B Corp status

Foster Denovo has told Money Marketing it is looking to obtain the B Corp status.

B Corps, or certified B corporations, are firms meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.

A score of 80 must be reached to achieve the B Corp certification. Although the average company will score 50 the first time they take the assessment.

Foster Denovo head of investment research Declan McAndrew said: “We believe companies should look after their employees and wider stakeholders.

“By taking the steps to operate as a B Corp, we are showing our staff and clients that this is a core value of Foster Denovo’s and we are committed to continually evolve and improve our efforts to be a force for good.”
