Foster Denovo’s Sally takes world title for GB!

Sally Read-Cayton was undertaking flexible working with her employer Foster Denovo to enable her to represent Britain in the IAAF world championships in Beijing, where she won her 400m Masters race!

The over-50 masters races were by invitation to the fastest age-group runners in the world at the women’s 400m and men’s 800m, and Sally Read-Cayton won a perfect tactical race to win the 400m in 60.05, her fastest time for five years.  Despite reaching the age of 50 in April, Sally overhauled New Zealand’s world masters champion Liz Wilson around the 300m mark.
