National advice firm open Essex office
National advice firm Foster Denovo has hired a St James’s Place (SJP) adviser to lead its new Essex office.
Gavin Clark was previously a SJP adviser at partnership firm The Mark Jennings Partnership. He has also worked for American Express and J. Rothschild Assurance.
He will take on clients from Foster Denovo adviser Kerry Downes, who will retire after a four year handover period.
Foster Denovo has also opened a new office in Ingatestone in Essex to support Clark.
Clark said the firm would grow staff and client numbers in the new office.
‘Working alongside Kerry, our intention is to continue to grow the business through personalised introductions and recommendations. We have plans to bring in additional staff on both the support and adviser side,’ he said.
