Sugar manufacturer Tate & Lyle introduced a salary sacrifice pension last year with the aim of increasing contributions and educating staff about saving for retirement.

Secondsight,was engaged to communicate the rollout of the salary sacrifice scheme and educate staff about pensions.

“We wanted a third party to come in, one that employees could feel they could trust,” says Okpiabhele, Tate & Lyle Sugars Compensation and Benefits Manager. “We could have used Aviva, our pension provider, but we chose not to because we wanted an independent party, one that had a lot of experience in launching salary sacrifice in other organisations.”
