At as our clients first point of contact when they enter the office, you will be a welcoming, warm presence with a professional manner. This is a busy role working as part of a team of two, answering calls promptly and efficiently and greeting visitors to the office as well as maintaining the reception area and dealing with post.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract, 8:30am - 5pm Mon-Fri, office based. 

Your Role

  • To answer all incoming calls to the desired service standard in a professional and helpful manner, transferring calls efficiently and passing messages promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain the reception area and meeting rooms to a high standard.
  • Greet all clients and visitors to the office in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Manage and maintain the meeting room booking system.
  • Deal with all incoming and outgoing post
  • Deal with all deliveries to the office and arrange couriers as required
  • Assist with meeting set up, arranging catering and refreshments as required
  • Maintain the office archiving system
  • Assist with the day to day running of the office, respond to facilities issues and liaise with external contractors and suppliers
  • Provide administrative assistance to Partners and staff as required
  • Establish strong relationships with colleagues and Partners

About You

  • Proven track record working in a client focused reception role
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills including excellent telephone manner.
  • Projects a professional but friendly image.
  • Strong desire to do an excellent job, to get things right first time and to have a naturally excellent customer services ethic.
  • Keen to progress and develop role, with a desire to grow personally and learn new skills.
  • A positive, friendly service-orientated person with a “can do” attitude who is aware of the important role played by advisers and their staff in providing financial advice.
