My profile

My aim is to be a safe pair of hands – with empathy and understanding for whatever financial stage you’re at.

I began my career in financial services by answering an advert in a local newspaper. Over three decades later, I have completed numerous courses and become a Chartered Financial Planner, ensuring a high level of expertise in financial planning. I genuinely care about helping people through what can often be difficult or emotional transitions in their lives.

I provide advice and support across several financial areas, including financial planning, inheritance tax and estate planning, investments and protection, and Trust planning.

I specialise in:

I am based in Lockington, Leicestershire.

Financial planning is deeply personal. Whether my clients are planning for retirement, investing for their future, or navigating inheritance tax concerns, I’m here to help them feel informed, confident and in control.

With over 30 years’ experience, and now as a Chartered Financial Planner, I specialise in pensions and retirement planning, but I also offer support and advice with financial investments, inheritance tax planning, and more. I provide guidance that’s tailored to my client’s goals, values, and life circumstances. I support my clients in building a clear, flexible plan that evolves with them, helping to make the most of every stage of life.

My approach is always people-first. I believe the best financial advice comes from strong relationships built on trust, honesty and empathy. That’s why I take the time to really understand my clients and not just their finances. During client meetings, I discuss their priorities, worries, and what matters most to them.

I prefer to meet face-to-face where possible, whether that’s at my client’s home, in our office in Lockington, or somewhere that feels most comfortable for them. But I also work flexibly and support my clients remotely if that’s easier. It all begins with a friendly, informal conversation. I make sure there is no pressure, just the space to explore whether we’re the right fit for each other, so that I can provide the best advice not just for the short-term, but for the long-term as well.

I bring a calm, thoughtful approach that helps people feel at ease with what can sometimes be overwhelming topics.

I’m here to be a safe pair of hands; someone my clients can rely on to guide them through complex financial decisions, while always keeping your needs and comfort at the heart of everything I do. I work hard to keep things simple, breaking goals into manageable steps.

Many of my clients have been with me for decades. Over time, those relationships evolve into something more personal, and that’s something I value deeply.

Although I lead client relationships, I’m part of a highly experienced and qualified team based in our Lockington office in Leicestershire. We work collaboratively behind the scenes to help make sure all our clients receive responsive, well-rounded support. We all help to make sure that clients are never on their own and that there’s always someone here to provide support.

I live in the Midlands and enjoy a very active life outside of work. I have two horses and regularly compete in eventing and dressage. When I’m not in the saddle, you’ll likely find me in the garden or out walking.

A pension is a long term investment. The fund value may fluctuate and can go down, which would have an impact on the level of pension benefits available.

Pension savings are at risk of being eroded by inflation.

When investing, your capital may be at risk.
