My profile

“Helping clients reach an informed decision with clear and understandable language.”

With over 30 years of experience in financial services, my entire career has been dedicated to providing expert guidance and financial planning solutions.

I specialise in all areas of financial planning, with a particular focus on pensions, investments, and equity release. Whether you are in the accumulation or decumulation phase of your financial journey, I am here to support you and provide advice to meet your needs.

I cover the Midlands, specifically Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire.

My commitment is to support you both now and in the long term, helping to make your financial goals remain achievable and adaptable, giving you the confidence to take control of your financial goals and decisions.

While I primarily operate from my office, I am happy to conduct home and workplace visits when required.

My process begins with a comprehensive fact-finding meeting, where I gather essential information about your financial situation, objectives, and requirements. Based on this, I conduct thorough research and provide a detailed advice report.

I then arrange a follow-up meeting to review and clarify my recommendations, helping to make sure you have a complete understanding of your financial plan and the reasoning behind it. My goal is to make complex financial matters simple and accessible, giving you the confidence to make informed decisions.

I believe in treating you with the same care and respect that I would expect for myself. My friendly yet professional approach aims to provide you with peace of mind and confidence in your financial plans.

I am supported by an exceptional team based at our Burton-on-Trent office. Each member brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to help make sure we deliver the highest standard of service. Together, we work collaboratively to provide you with comprehensive financial planning and support, helping to make sure your goals are met with precision and care.

A pension is a long term investment. The fund value may fluctuate and can go down, which would have an impact on the level of pension benefits available. Pension income could also be affected by interest rates at the time benefits are taken.

The tax treatment of pensions in general and tax implications of pension withdrawals will be based on individual circumstances, tax legislation and regulation, which are subject to change in the future.

When investing your capital is at risk. The value of your investment can go down as well as up and you may not get back the full amount invested.

Home reversion plans and lifetime mortgages are complex products. A lifetime mortgage is a loan secured against your home. To understand the features and risks, ask for a personalised illustration. Equity release will reduce the value of your estate and may affect your entitlement to means tested benefits.
