Research: The workplace communication challenge

Our digital brand, Mybenefitsatwork (MBAW), has commissioned research to find out how UK employers currently communicate their benefits, and the challenges they face when doing so.

Increasingly, employers are investing in competitive benefits because they  want to look after their workforce and help improve job satisfaction levels, employee engagement and to bring down the costs of absenteeism.

However, failing to properly communicate the benefits package can result in a reduced return on investment.

MBAW’s research paper highlights the challenges that HR leaders face when communicating their benefits packages to employees. Some of the key findings include:

  • 9 out of 10 HR leaders face challenges when communicating their benefits package;
  • 95% of respondents would like to communicate their benefits in additional ways; and
  • 29% of employers utilise technology to communicate their benefits.
