How do you want to make your finances work for you and support the generations who follow?
Your answer to that question will be unique and specific to your personal circumstances and financial aims.
My skill as a financial planner is to understand those goals and to create a tailored financial plan, which will help to strengthen your financial status and help to manage your estate.
For over 25 years my clients have trusted me to support them in improving their finances, planning for their retirement, and maintaining their overall financial wellbeing.
This has given my clients confidence in their own financial status, their future financial security, and allowed them to build a reservoir that may help to support other family members, such as children and grandchildren.
Whether your long-term needs are focused on your own retirement lifestyle, or on making sure that your money is used in the right way by the generation who follows you, I can help you with:
- planning ahead for a retirement lifestyle you can enjoy;
- managing your estate and trusts to support your future;
- making sure your inheritance goes to the correct beneficiaries;
- purchasing properties to develop your portfolio;
- building a reservoir of capital to help make sure you have financial security;
- supporting future generations in ways that are important to you;
- putting in place corporate protection for your business; and
- ethical and green (ESG) investments to help you invest in funds which reflect your outlook.
The value of your investment can go down as well as up and you may not get back the full amount invested.
The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate taxation and trust advice.
Your home or property may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
- How do I work?
The most important thing is that I will try to understand your unique situation and your specific ambitions. To do this, I begin by getting to know your medium and long-term goals, as well as understanding your concerns and motivations.
This information is used to create a bespoke financial plan, covering what you aim to achieve and the steps we can take to help you get there.
We will regularly discuss and review your financial status and plans for the future. As your circumstances evolve, I will help you in amending your financial plan to suit your changing needs and objectives.
I use a four-stage process to help you achieve your financial goals and objectives.
Discovery: I will understand what is important to you and identify how we can work together to help achieve your financial goals, taking in to consideration your attitude to risk.
Strategy: we will work together and look ahead to create a plan to help you achieve your financial goals and aspirations. Where appropriate, I will use cash flow modelling to help you understand your financial situation today and what your cash flow may look like throughout your life. Cash flow modelling will help to form the basis of a financial strategy tailored to your needs.
Recommendation & Implementation: I will make suitable recommendations designed to meet your needs and objectives.
Review: It is vital that we monitor, adapt and evolve your financial plan as your circumstances change whilst taking in to account any changes in legislation, fund performance and much more.
I see it as imperative that I am available for you throughout the process, to support any additional needs or adjustments you may wish to make. Similarly, should your circumstances or objectives change, I am available and ready to help you to adapt and remain financially secure.
I have built my business through referrals with my clients coming to me from introductions and recommendations both on a personal and professional basis.
- How do I add value?
I focus on building a relationship and rapport with each one of my clients so that I know I am giving the best advice I can, and to help make sure you have confidence in the information I provide.
I avoid using jargon and use simple financial terms to cut through the confusion and hassle of financial planning.
Understanding a client’s needs and desires is paramount, and I strive to help my clients engage with and become more interested in their money.
