Women In Finance
The financial services industry has traditionally been male-dominated but that’s changing and we’re delighted to be part of the effort at the forefront of progress. We’re proud to be signatories to The Women in Finance Charter, which sets out four key actions to help to address this imbalance.
Currently:
- 54% of our colleagues are women, higher than the industry average of 43%
- 44% of our senior management team are women, higher than the industry standard of 20%.
We first signed the charter in 2023, setting a target of 40% of senior roles filled by women, reaching 46% in 2024. In 2025, this figure is 44% and our target remains at 40%, well above the industry standard.

We’re committed to making it easier for women to thrive and progress with us, as part of our wider approach to diversity.
We asked our people to tell us about their background and heritage, starting with a pin on the map of the world that meant something to them.
Over the following weeks and months, a clear picture emerged. While most of our colleagues are from the UK, a good number had their roots in far distant countries.
For us it was evidence that in building a talented workforce, we reflected the market we were serving in wealth management and employee benefits. Our people closely resembled our clients.
